Ray came to Festus Manor  this past January after a stay in the hospital due to COPD exacerbation and pneumonia. Upon admission, our rehabilitation team initiated speech, occupational, and physical therapy disciplines. Our team of dedicated rehab specialists quickly identified Ray’s needs and tailored a specialized treatment plan to get him back on his feet. When Ray admitted, he was unable to stand, swallow or care for himself.

Throughout Ray’s stay and treatment program, he showed great tenacity. After two months of working with our therapy team, Ray was able to successfully discharge home with his son. Ray is now able to ambulate short distances without any assistive devices. 

From everyone here at Festus Manor, we are so proud of Ray and the progress that he made while he was in our care. We wish nothing but the best for Ray as he continues to transition back to home life!
